Leading Companies Participated in Milk Distribution to Tsunami Children

Ever since the fateful day in December of 2004, World Vision Foundation of Thailand is the first organization to respond to the disaster by its quick delivery of relief goods to the tsunami victims. The tidal waves have left a trail of destruction in their wake and stripped away everything from the victims. The surviving families and children are left helpless. WVFT appealed to leading companies to procure milk for the affected children. In this crisis, the children would still have milk to drink continuously for at least 3 months from January to March 2005. Powdered milk for 1,156 children under 5 months and UHT milk for 5,165 children over 5 months to 6 years were obtained. Companies such as Domnern Somgiat Boonma Co., Ltd. and Earth Care Co., Ltd. took part in this activity.
