When a crisis occurs, "children" are the most vulnerable.

Following therenewedconflictsituationalongthe Thailand–Cambodia border, hundreds of children have faced fear and uncertainty, being displaced from their homes. World Vision Foundation of Thailand, together with its partner networks, has supported them with clean drinking waterand established a ChildFriendly Space (CFS), or a safe area for children to engage in creative activitiessuch as coloring, listening to stories, playinggames, and doing arts and crafts. These activities help to reduce tension and restore their mental well-being.

Based on our survey of the operational areas, there are currently 492 people affected by the conflict and residing in shelters, distributed as follows: Ubon Ratchathani Province 22,580 people, Sisaket Province 45,914 45,914 people Surin Province 51,781 51,781 people and Buriram Province 5,563 5,563 people.

Donate to help children and families affected by the conflict. Every donation you make will help to:

  • · Provide dry food, drinking water, and medicine to disaster victims in the shelters.
  • · Establish Child Friendly Spaces (CFS), which are safe areas for children, offering psychological healing, promoting continuous learning, and protecting children from abuse during this time of crisis.

To ensure the safety of the children in the area, we must refrain from revealing the children’s faces.
