The project integrates efforts to end tuberculosis and AIDS among migrant populations, while simultaneously promoting human rights, gender equality, and strengthening community systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr Nyan Win Phyo<\/strong>, Migrant Populations Project Manager, World Vision Thailand, said in the meeting: <em>\u201cThe Stop TB and AIDS project continues to focus on implementing RRTTPR services for key populations, including migrants, men who have sex with men, transgender, sex workers, and their partners. The main challenge in this phase of the project is reaching and engaging the LGBTQ community to access TB and HIV services. The interventions aim to address barriers and obstacles related to gender, stigmatisation, and discrimination in accessing TB and HIV services. This project also aims to increase access to the justice system, eliminate inequities in accessing healthcare services, and advocate for the reform of laws that hinder access to healthcare for key populations. Additionally, the project will strengthen community-based systems with a focus on people-centred initiatives and civil society-led services, in coordination with local government.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mr Sukhon Khumpetch<\/strong>, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Ranong Provincial Public Health Office, endorsed and expressed the readiness to support the Stop TB and AIDS project in Ranong.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cRegarding the collaboration discussed by World Vision Thailand, Ranong Provincial Public Health Office is pleased to provide guidance and coordinate implementation activities within Ranong Province. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to World Vision Thailand for being a valuable civil society partner in our collaborative efforts with the government to end tuberculosis and AIDS among key populations in Ranong Province.
