She is a living testament to the idea that giving is not about losing something\u2014it is about gaining joy and meaning in life. <em>\u201cWhen you sponsor a child, you need to understand that it is not an investment expecting financial returns. It is an emotional investment. When you are ready\u2014both in heart and in resources\u2014it becomes a truly fulfilling experience,\u201d <\/em>she shares.<\/p><p>After two decades of continuous support, she has not only witnessed the growth and success of the children she has sponsored but also discovered something deeply valuable in return: a sense of purpose and the joy of being part of shaping a better future for the next generation.<\/p><p>When asked about the <strong>reason <\/strong>for her giving, Ms Jard takes us back to her roots. <em>\u201cMy family are businesspeople, and I was raised with the values passed down from my grandparents and parents\u2014supporting students who had fewer opportunities,\u201d<\/em> she says proudly.<\/p><p>Her journey as a giver did not happen overnight. It was shaped by her family, which believes in the power of education. From a young age, she saw her family helping children they did not personally know, driven by the belief that investing in children is investing in the nation\u2019s future. So, when she graduated and began working, sponsoring a child through World Vision Thailand was one of the first things she committed to once she had her own income.<\/p><p>Over 20 years ago, online media was not as widespread. Ms Jard first discovered World Vision Thailand through early digital channels. <em>\u201cBack then, online platforms were not very prominent, but I researched and read about World Vision Thailand\u2019s background and felt it was a trustworthy organisation,\u201d<\/em> she recalls. What drew her in was the convenience of recurring donations via credit card, and more importantly, the transparency in reporting outcomes. We talked, and I could see how happy they were to meet me. It was truly touching.\u201d <\/em>That encounter made her feel even more deeply that her support had real meaning. She felt proud to be part of someone\u2019s life-changing journey.<\/p><p>She also shares a heartfelt message for all sponsored children: <em>\u201cThis opportunity from World Vision Thailand can help you build a stable future\u2014for yourself, your family, and your community. Many sponsors may never meet you, but they believe in your potential and want to see you grow into a good person. So, believe in yourself, strive to improve each day, and do good\u2014even in small ways. That is the greatest way to give back and make your sponsors happy to be part of your journey.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p>Ms Jard\u2019s story is more than just a sponsor\u2019s experience\u2014it is a reflection of how giving is also receiving. Helping others brings meaning to our own lives. When one generation passes on kindness to the next, we begin to see a society filled with hope and opportunity\u2014a society built by everyone, for everyone, through the enduring power of
