\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWorld Vision Foundation of Thailand, <\/strong>in collaboration with the Rights and Liberties Protection Department, organized <\/strong>a workshop on \u201cPromoting Legal Assistance for the Public in Accordance with Legal and Human Rights Principles\u201d<\/strong> during 27\u201329 May 2026 in Chiang Mai Province, covering Chiang Dao, Fang, Chai Prakan, Mae Ai, and Wiang Haeng districts. The initiative aims to enhance the protection of rights for vulnerable children, particularly stateless children.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThis initiative represents an integrated collaboration among four sectors: the Rights and Liberties Protection Department, District Registration Offices, educational institutions,<\/strong> and World Vision Foundation of Thailand. <\/strong>The partnership seeks to establish a systematic support mechanism for the public, with distinguished speakers from various agencies including the Department of Provincial Administration, the Ministry of Education, Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, as well as representatives from local educational sectors, sharing knowledge and experiences.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tA total of 182 schools and more than 426 educational personnel participated in the training, reflecting the growing awareness within the education sector regarding children\u2019s rights and equal access to fundamental rights.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe training focused on strengthening understanding of legal and human rights principles, while also providing a platform for exchanging approaches to support vulnerable children\u2014particularly the \u2018G-code children,\u2019 <\/strong>who are stateless individuals lacking civil registration status and essential basic rights such as access to education, healthcare, and legal protection.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tImportantly, all partners jointly developed guidelines and an action plan to accelerate the resolution of legal status issues for these students. The plan will be actively implemented from July to September 2026 through data integration, legal consultation, and coordination with targeted district registration offices.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
