For the past 20 years, media executive, producer, and influencer \u2018Ms. Piyawadee Maleenont (Tu)\u2019 <\/strong>has remained committed to child sponsorship through World Vision Foundation of Thailand, guided by her belief that education <\/strong>is a form of support that can create lasting change.<\/p>

Upon receiving a commemorative plaque honoring her 20 years of support for sponsored children, Ms. Piyawadee shared that her greatest joy comes not only from giving a child an opportunity, but also from giving children opportunities, but also from seeing the value of education and their growth. \u201cI am delighted for the children that people recognize the value of education. To me, the most sustainable way to help is through education. Each child can build on the opportunity they receive and use it to improve their life in ways that go far beyond one-time financial assistance.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

She sees child sponsorship as more than financial assistance\u2014it is an investment in the future of children and society. With access to appropriate education, children can grow into capable, self-reliant adults and contribute to society in the future. Ms. Piyawadee also shared a message for sponsored children, noting that although sponsors and children may never meet in person, their care and encouragement continue to reach one another through World Vision Foundation of Thailand.<\/p>

One of Ms. Piyawadee\u2019s most meaningful experiences has been seeing formerly sponsored children grow up, graduate, and establish stable careers. Some have even returned to work with or support the foundation, becoming the next generation of supporters. \u201cIt fills me with pride. I feel as though I have played a part in developing capable individuals who can contribute to the country.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

As a public figure, executive, and social media content creator, Ms. Piyawadee is committed to using every platform available to communicate the importance of providing educational opportunities for children. She also noted that a monthly contribution that may seem small to a sponsor can make an enormous difference in a child\u2019s life. For this reason, she encourages everyone to help create opportunities for children\u2014whether through sponsorship, donations, well wishes, or other forms of encouragement. She believes emotional support <\/strong>is encouragement is especially valuable in today\u2019s world, where everyone faces different challenges.<\/p>

\u201cAn expense that may seem insignificant to us can be enormously valuable to a child. What we consider a small contribution can have an enormous impact on a child\u2019s life. I encourage everyone to sponsor a child through World Vision Foundation of Thailand. We may never know what a child has been through.
