Mori Dessert Bar, a Japanese-style bakery café on behalf of Stork (Thailand) Co., Ltd recently made a donation to World Vision Foundation of Thailand (WVFT) to support its ‘Breakfast for Kids’ project. Ms Sirikoranat Namsaeng, the Manager of Mori’s Mercury Ville Childlom shop and Ms Patcharaporn Thongprem, Assistant Shop Manager presented a donation worth 15,553 Baht to Ms Saweeya Pakpho, WVFT’s Corporate Engagement Department Manager. The contribution was raised from the sale of Strawberry Short Cake as part of ‘Love Cake Project x Mori Strawberry Short Cake’ campaign.
A joint effort between Mori and WVFT, the campaign is ongoing for the third year to support WVFT’s ‘Breakfast for Kids’ project. Proceeds from the sale of Strawberry Short Cake from last Christmas are converted into 777 breakfast meals for children ages 2-6 years old at children’s development centres across Thailand. The campaign not only gives children nutritious morning meals, but also raises awareness on the importance of nutrition among parents, teachers and the children’s caretakers facilitated by WVFT’s staff, nutritionists and officials from health centres.
