“Bee grew up in a low-income family. Her first home was an old house that her parents gradually repaired with whatever limited resources they had. Living on daily wages, her parents faced an unpredictable income. To make matters worse, Bee was diagnosed with an atrial septal defect (a hole in the heart wall) and had to undergo major surgery as a child. This meant the entire family had to pour all their physical and mental strength into caring for Bee, while carrying the heavy burden of rising medical expenses.

Bee became a sponsored child under World Vision Foundation of Thailand during her primary school years. When she reached Grade 12 (Mattayom 6), she received the ‘Graduate to a Bachelor’s Degree’ scholarship, which enabled her to successfully complete her studies in Environmental Science at Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus. After earning her bachelor’s degree, her sponsor continued to support her through a master’s degree in Environmental Management Technology at Mahidol University until graduation.

Today, Bee has a stable career, allowing her to take care of her family and build a brand-new home for her parents. She firmly believes that the opportunity to receive an education completely transformed her life. It has also inspired her to give back to society—because for a child starting with nothing, a single opportunity can truly change their entire future.”
