The Tour of Hope
The Tour of Hope (TTOH) is an international non-profit initiative of like-minded cycling enthusiasts who come from all walks of life. They are united by an aspiration to convert their passion for riding into practical support for the less privileged, primarily in the areas of education and health.
This year, for the fifth year in a row, TTOH will work closely with the World Vision Foundation of Thailand to support its efforts to provide a better life and prospects for some less privileged people in Thailand. TTOH projects with World Vision in the past four years have included school libraries and community centers, complete with books, tables, chairs and computers.
In addition to the libraries TTOH has donated hundreds of bicycles to children at more than 25 different schools in the north, south and east of Thailand. The reason for giving bicycles is that many children in these areas live too far away from any school to walk the distance.
