The event took place at the second-floor meeting room of Makham District Office, Chanthaburi Province.

The ceremony was presided over by Mr Chatchai Limpakdee, Makham District Chief Officer, and attended by heads of government agencies, local leaders, and sub-district and village heads, all supporting the process of formalising this collaboration.

Key commitments include:

  • Promoting learning and applying the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in daily life and sub-district development to strengthen three dimensions: security, prosperity, and sustainability
  • Building capacity for sub-district management using community databases, information systems, and network linkages, while fostering good governance across all sectors
  • Identifying scalable models for expansion to cover all sub-districts in the future

The initiative also focuses on encouraging people to integrate the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy into their way of life, fostering lifelong learning for self-reliance and natural resource conservation. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The signing reflects strong collaboration among government agencies, the civil society sector, and partner networks.

World Vision Foundation of Thailand remains committed to supporting strong and sustainable community development to improve the quality of life for children, families, and community members.
