World Vision Foundation of Thailand, in collaboration with six Christian organizations, has announced the establishment of the ‘Church Mobilization in Children and Family Ministry Working Group’ to promote collaboration among promote collaboration among child and family networks in Thailand.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony was held on July 31, 2026, with representatives from the following organizations: World Vision Foundation of Thailand, Compassion Foundation, CBN Foundation (Thailand), Step Ahead Foundation, Christian Foundation for the Handicapped Children, A21 Thailand Foundation, and LIFT International Foundation. Representatives from Mahidol University’s Department of Humanities, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Child Impact Foundation also participated, with the latter serving as the driving force behind the working group and as observers.
This collaboration arose from a grew out of an exchange of ideas and experiences between organizations working with children and families, with the goal of building a learning environment, strengthening cooperation, and jointly developing approaches to key issues affecting children and families.
Under this Memorandum of Understanding, the seven organizations jointly express their commitment to advancing collaboration and build shared understanding of the working group’s direction and operating mechanisms, as well as to foster engagement with the church network and strategic cooperation in the areas of Child Protection, Safeguarding, Child Well-being, and Family Strengthening.
The working group will operate through three key approaches: Prevention, Detection, and Response and Case Management, to support the work on children and families within relevant networks.

After the signing, the working group met to determine next steps, such as developing shared practices, creating supporting materials and tools, fostering engagement with the church networks nationwide, and exploring approaches to developing pilot projects to serve as models for future collaboration.
