In late September, continuous heavy rainfall in Phang Nga Province triggered flash floods and overflow flooding across communities within the development project areas of the World Vision Foundation of Thailand (WVFT). Many sponsored children, families, and local residents were severely affected, facing shortages of food, drinking water, and other basic necessities.
In response, World Vision Foundation of Thailand promptly deployed teams to assess the situation, coordinate with community leaders and local authorities, and establish a community kitchen to provide immediate relief. The Foundation also distributed 300 relief kits to affected families. WVFT volunteers, youth leaders, parents, and community members worked together to prepare and deliver essential assistance to those in need.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our sponsors, donors, and all partners who have extended their support and compassion. Every contribution has played a vital role in helping children, families, and communities recover and move forward through this crisis together.
