These shelters are accommodating more than 11,900 displaced people who have been severely impacted by the major flooding in Mueang and Hat Yai districts.

Relief Items Provided

World Vision Foundation of Thailand has supplied food and essential items to help families live safely during this crisis. The relief package includes:

  • Cooking ingredients for community kitchens, such as jasmine rice, canned fish, instant noodles, and eggs
  • Dry food and survival kits for the most affected families
  • Non-food items such as kitchenware, blankets, pillows, and mosquito nets
  • Personal essentials for evacuees in the shelters, including:
    • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
    • Sanitary pads
    • Towels and nano blankets
    • Bar soap
    • Baby nappies

Coordination with community leaders and local authorities ensures that assistance reaches every family promptly and effectively.

This support is part of the Southern Floods Response 2025 project, through which World Vision Foundation of Thailand is committed to alleviating hardship and restoring hope for affected families—so that together, we can overcome this crisis.
