From 27 to 30 November 2025, World Vision Foundation of Thailand organised a heart-warming trip, known as “TripImjai”, under the theme “Fun Trip to Visit Kids in Mae La Noi”. The event brought together sponsors and donors to visit the project, engage in meaningful activities, and deliver gifts to more than 200 children at the Mae La Noi Project in Mae Hong Son Province.
On that cool day, children and community leaders gave a warm welcome to the special guests with bright smiles and eyes sparkling with excitement. Sponsors and World Vision Foundation of Thailand staff presented carefully-prepared gifts – clothing, blankets, school supplies and hygiene kits – and treated the children to a special lunch of ‘Khanom Chin Nam Ngio’ (rice vermicelli with Northern Thai curry sauce) and ice cream, a rare delight for many kids.
The broad smiles, laughter and joy shared that day became treasured memories – the most unforgettable, precious gifts for both givers and receivers.
Visiting the children and the community was another key activity, giving sponsors and donors a deeper understanding of local lifestyles and how World Vision Foundation of Thailand works to transform lives through the Child Sponsorship programme and other special projects tailored to local needs.
The ‘Fun Trip to Visit Kids in Mae La Noi’, as part of the TripImjai initiative, brought smiles, joy and hope to children in this remote area. We extend heartfelt thanks to every sponsor and donor for giving these underprivileged children the chance to grow and develop a better future.
When those who give receive joy far greater than what they offered, and those who receive gain hope and opportunities for a brighter future – that is the true meaning of giving.
