World Vision Foundation of Thailand expresses its sincere gratitude to HSBC Thailand for donating 1.65 million baht to assist in alleviating hardship and restoring communities impacted by severe flooding in Songkhla Province, which affected more than 20,100 people in Hat Yai and Sathing Phra districts.
The donation will be directed towards several critical areas, including:
- Emergency Relief – Provision of essential supplies such as non-perishable food, medicines, and hygiene kits.
- Educational Recovery – Repairing 13 damaged schools and childcare centres to ensure that children can return to safe learning environments.
- Healthcare Support – Supplying essential medical equipment to Songklanagarind Hospital to strengthen its capacity to treat patients affected by the floods.
Mr Giorgio Gamba, Chief Executive Officer and Head of Banking, HSBC group’s operations in Thailand, stated:
