On September 2, 2026, World Vision Foundation of Thailand was honored with a commemorative plaque from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS) as one of 30 organizations supporting the promotion of a ‘family-friendly environment’ at the 2026 National Family Assembly, held under the theme ‘Synergizing Forces for Family Well-being’ at the Prince Palace Hotel in Bangkok.
The presentation ceremony was presided over by Mr. Anekchai Rueangrattanakorn, Advisor to the Minister of Social Development and Human Security, alongside executives from the Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development, as well as representatives from public, private, and civil society sectors and nationwide partner networks.
Receiving this honorary plaque reflects the World Vision Foundation of Thailand’s commitment to improving the quality of life for children, families, and communities, particularly through work aimed at creating supportive environments for children to develop to their full potential and empowering families to appropriately care for and protect their members.
This approach aligns with the direction of the 2026 National Family Assembly, which emphasizes building strong families across multiple dimensions including family relationships, living environments, economic security, and resilience against digital risks and threats.
Furthermore, the 2026 National Family Assembly formulated four key policy proposals: ‘Synergizing Forces for Family Well-being,’ ‘Creating a Family-Friendly Environment,’ ‘Strengthening Family Economic Well-being,’ and ‘Cyber Safe Family: Protecting Families from Online Threats’ to drive tangible change at both policy and practical levels.
